30 Second Kneel Down

Leader Testimonials

Hi Tom

I can't tell you how thankful I am that you guys came this weekend! As I worked these months on planning the No Rep, the concept of 30KD got deeply planted in my heart. One of the special blessings of this weekend was getting to know you personally. I so appreciate your encouragement about "not doing business as usual", and your affirmation of the "decentralization" of youth ministry at St. Luke's. I'm sure you know the strength that comes in being with others whom God is leading the same way...

As I said at the close of Saturday night: We receive the "revival seed" in faith... and we will "PUSH" (Pray Until Something (a revolution) Happens)!

 Mike

Good day,
I am a youth pastor in Kimberley South Africa and this morning I've seen the 3O second kneel down on TBN. I WAS SO excited that I almost started crying when I saw what can be done when young people started standing up for what they believe in. I am writing to you to get some more info and maybe how can I get involved or maybe starting with something similar in our city?

God bless you so much!!!

From an excited God chaser,
Johan Vrey

Hi Tom,
We are doing the 30KD rally March 13th and we know and believe this will be the biggest event yet! We are looking for 3,000 teens. I think that we are going to have the largest representation of teachers, administrators and principles ever in one church at one time. Tom, I just want you to remember, I believe in what your doing!

Doug
Ft. Myers, FL.

My name is Kelly. Boy do I wish I were back in high school, I would sure love to pray at my locker. I was very much moved by the rally those couple of days. My daughter, Holly, took a friend from school the first night her name is Shannon. Both girls are in the 9th grade at West Lincoln High. Holly said the next day Shannon was so excited about going back the next nite and she went all over school telling everyone to come. Holly & Shannon took two other kids from school the next nite. All the kids in my car wished there was another ! nite. They were very moved and excited about what God had done in their hearts and they all committed to the 30kd.

All of the kids that went with Holly; none of their parents are church goers and one kids confided in us that his parents are alcoholics and are very difficult to live with. I feel that most of the time these kids are not going to stay committed unless they have something to keep them on track. I have decided to have a meeting in my home for those children that made the commitment. I don't exactly know what to do, I do know these kids need ongoing encouragement to help them face the challenges their up against everyday in school. I don't want to let Satan interfere with my thoughts on this. And I want to make my thoughts actions! God is leading me and I have to follow. Thank you for this ministry!

Kelly

Mr. Sipling,

I wanted to pass on an encouraging 30 second kneel down report. Our group, Northeast Presbyterian, is part of the St Pete, FL group that has been doing the kneel down. We held the rally at Pasadena Pres, where Len Alexander is the youth minister.

12 of our kids who were at the rally attend Riviera Middle School. They were so excited about kneeling down the day after the rally that they told all their friends who they knew went to youth groups or who they thought might be Christians. So, that day about 70 kids did the kneel down.

One student was not happy about seeing the kids praying. She told one of our kids that she was going to bring a gun the next day and shoot everyone who had knelt.

Our kid did the right thing by reporting the threat. The school did not come down hard on the girl. She still goes to Riviera. But here is the real miracle. The kid who received the threat has been witnessing to her. The girl's attitude seems to have totally changed. She even intends to come to youth group.

Please pray that this girl would take the next step and accept Jesus as her Savior.

Thank you for your ministry. I believe that Jesus is the answer to all the world's problems, and prayer is the most important part of our lives as Christians. So, thank you for running a Christ-centered ministry that gets kids praying.

Your Brother in Christ,

Jeff Kliewer

Our youth group has just returned from the Midwest Winterfest in Cincinnati, Ohio where Tom Sipling spoke to our young people about 30kd. We purchased several wristbands and had 8 teens make a commitment to do the 30 second kneel down today in their various high schools. After seeing the response in those 8 we have had many more that would also like to take part in this. We are wanting to order some more wristbands to hand out to these students. We are going to be bringing the idea of a no rep weekend to our congregation. We have seen that the wristbands have already been a conversation starter and we want all our teens to be equipped with something that will help them to get started. I appreciate your help and your vision for young people everywhere.

I spoke at Trinity jr. High's chapel this am. Almost Ninety kids knelt with me. Almost all of them committed to daily kneeling at lunch. They even nominated their own leader to lead them each day. I spoke afterwards at Skyward High (you went there with me). I shared my testimony (for the first time in 4 1/2 years) and the 30KD. Two kids got saved and about 3/4 of them committed to doing the 30Kd. We also have a "commander" (as we call them) here. On Tuesday I shared at Rosemont Jr. High, 50 young people knelt with me and they prayed for revival in their schools and their community. Hand after hand went up saying they would commit to DAILY prayer on their amphitheater at lunch. I cannot believe what God is doing!

Youth continue to pray in California!

Hello Tom:

I just wanted to let you know what God is doing out here in Ca.! I will be taking the 30kd into all the schools in our community. Last week one of our leaders Roxanne, and a youth, Stevie, both had the same vision of prayer breaking out at Village Christian. The name is Christian, but sadly the campus does not live up to the name. Last week school was out for one of our public schools. Two students, Jon Hooker and Stevie Moore went into Village every day to teach them about the 30KD. The only difference is that the prayer is at lunch and lasts for about five minutes. At the beginning of the week there was under a dozen Jr. High and under a dozen Sr. High. I went on the third day and we had 90 Jr. High and 18 Sr. High. By Friday there were 100 Jr. High and about a dozen Sr. High!!! I stood back in awe as I saw these students pray. You could hear the crowd that was not participating as they whispered comments like. "Look at them all!" "I thought they were only supposed to pray for 30 seconds." "They are praying too long!" It was incredible! I went to Skyward High School yesterday. We had about twenty students praying. I am committed to put "Commanders" and "Co-Commanders" in every school in our area by mid Feb. In fact, I even have speaking engagements in the public schools.

Partnering with you in Christ,

Pastor Kimberlie Zakarian

On September 2, 2000 up to 400,000 students gathered to fast and pray for The Call DC. In preparation for that day, I was seeking like hearted leaders to run with and I was sovereignly connected to Tom Sipling and the No Reputation 30 Second Kneel Down movement. In my heart I know that his prayer revolution carried the DNA God wanted to release at The Call - the mark of humility, radical courage, and the mark of breakthrough, abandonment in prayer for a great awakening. At The Call, we publicly lent our passionate support to this movement. I thank God for this No Reputation Vision that is producing the radical disciples that may turn a nation back to God and help prepare a great awakening among the youth of America.

The 30KD is going where other campus movements have not been able to go. There is a upheaval of faith, that of Daniel, rising up in our nation's young people. Through the 30kd, God is using Young people to put prayer back in schools.

Just to let you know, 30kd is growing here in Las Cruces. We had our first ever "I Saw You at the Pole" rally last night, and just over 200 kids came. Sam Swann, youth pastor at Calvary Baptist here in town, and I put it together. I thank God that He sent Sam to LC. He and I are teaming up and going to the campus' to start some evangelism programs with the Bible clubs, or as we prefer, student ministries that are already in place. All together we had probably close to 400 students participate with SYATP. At the rally last night I shared some info with them about 30kd and had some testimonies. I am positive it will bring some results and grow. These kids down here are crazy and hungry for a move of God. I cannot explain it other than crazy and hungry!

Talk with you later.

Youth Pastor Marty Hynes

Laura, one of our Senior girls who was at the call really caught the vision of the 30KD. Laura invited kids to do 30KD at the weekly Bible study group that she leads (they meet before school at a restaurant). Her school (Field High School in Brimfield) had a good turnout at SYATP, and as they entered the building for school, Laura still wasn't sure if anyone besides her would do it. She knelt down in front of her locker and prayed. When she finished someone said "Did you hear what's going on in the Junior's hallway?" When she got to the Junior's hallway, Laura said she couldn't believe her eyes - there were 20 -25 kids kneeling , still praying.

She told us that there was a peaceful hush that fell over the whole scene. Other students who were not praying were heard saying "Shhh these guys are praying" - showing respect and admiration for what their classmates were doing.... A number of kids have testified that their prayer life and/or the "spiritual climate" of their school has changed noticeably since The Call.

I can tell you that our Wednesday night youth meetings have been markedly different since we returned from the call. Last week, our worship time ended with every person kneeling, face-on-the-floor, in total silence for 15 minutes. Then, prayers of confession and repentance began.

Hope that gives you a sense of what's going on here. Praise the Lord!

"I wanted to let you know that I've got about 7 of my students who are doing the 30 Second Kneel Down. School started this week and these students have faithfully done this for the first three days. It is the beginning of something big. I just got word this morning that one of my guys got pushed over while praying but got back up and finished his prayer."

I just wanted to say, we had our first day of 30kd yesterday a Chugiak High School, it is one of the largest high schools in Alaska. The only problem was that our teens kneeled down right in the middle of the lunch room and it lasted 15 minutes.

They have committed to doing this for there school every day. It is @ 10:50 am. Please pray for them, cause the enemy doesn't like what is going on.

IT will cost ALL of us everything to live for Jesus- BUT HE gave us everything!! Hey- You are my heroes and I am more than proud of you for taking that stand- keep dropping and giving GOD some prayer time- HE will in turn give you a rush of Xtreme strength to WIN in Christ-

"The thirty second kneel down is one of the most incredible God ideas I have ever been introduced too. It is a key part of this last day revolution amongst a generation. I have told thousands of students about it and will continue to do so. This will be used to take away the devils play ground on our campuses and become a stomping ground to declare the victory of Jesus.

Only time will tell how truly powerful this be, but I cannot wait to stand behind Tom and watch the millions say, "Thank you." Keep dreaming the dream for a generation, Joshua Journey Ministries. We are all running with you!!

You'll be happy to know that a lot of the Youth Pastors in our area were amazed at the result the 30KD program has made on the lives of their teens.

So much so that they told us during one of our Pittsburgh Invasion planning meetings that their teens went to school the next week on their own and began kneeling at their lockers without anyone saying anything to them.

"Without the 30 Second Kneel Down students will die again! With the 30kd our schools WILL BE SAVED! Youth in America need a reason, a plan and a cause. The 30 Second Kneel Down gives them a reason, a plan and a cause to change the world."

I wanted to let you know that several of our 48 students that went to convention have begun the 30 at 7:30, and the group that came from Duncannon (now co-led by lay leaders--one who is my brother) have begun as well.

I received an e-mail from my sister-in-law the other day--and at Susquenita, at least two faculty have joined with the kids in their kneeling! Praise Him!

I was so delighted to hear of the 30 Second Kneel Down. What a God idea! I have told thousands of teens about your idea and the feedback has been huge! They have been asked by students what they were doing and upon explanation, have led others to Christ. This is a wonderful tool in the hands of students.

The 30KD is powerful, yet simple tool to get prayer back in school. While there are many other methods of campus evangelism, prayer evangelism is where it's at. 30KD challenges a young person not only to stand for their school in prayer, but also challenges the student to be an example by praying everyday in their school for others to see. Prayer and example together make an awesome tool to see people come to know Jesus. Our youth ministry is doing the 30KD, it is my recommendation that yours does too!

Dear Tom,

Iowa Falls youth are gathering as a group for the 30KD in the morning before classes. They have had students from other churches join in prayer.

Their impact has not gone unnoticed by the local witches coven. They have felt so threatened by our youth group's dedication that they built a stone altar at one of our most active girl's home and another in front of the church. The teens are undeterred and have claimed the authority of Christ in this situation. Several youths who are practicing witchcraft seem to be open to our youth's influence and we are offering up prayer and claiming in faith that they will find Christ.
