Joshua Journey Ministries
Pastor Testimonials
On behalf of the congregation of Christ Lutheran Church in Niantic, I extend
our warmest thanks for your stay with us.
I have heard many positive comments about your time with our youth on
Saturday evening, and an equal number about your preaching on Sunday
morning, and your willingness to meet with worshippers following the
service. Thank you for your ministry among us both near and far.
Thank you as well for working with our theme for the day. There is
sometimes a bit of unknown when we open our pulpit to a preacher with whom
we are not familiar. You worked in our theme, bless us with God's Word and
your presence, and spoke the Gospel for all to hear. Thank you!

This morning in our weekly Student Intercession at the Church one of you
students really touched our heart. His name is Travis and he is a senior in
his High School. He has been doing the 30kd since last year. We begin our
intercession time, in identificational repentance. During this time, Travis
began to pray for his school. He asked God to have mercy on the students of
his campus. As he was praying he asked God to forgive the students for
throwing things at him when he kneels down to pray for them. He told the
Lord that they were his people, and that he loved them, and asked God to
show His love for them. As he was praying he began to weep for his friends
and classmates. We all wept with him and together, around 60 of us, asked
God to show his kindness that leads people to repentance on Travis’s campus.
Thank you for the impact you had in Chesapeake Virginia, the impact keeps on
growing. We look forward to having you with us again.

The time at the altar was powerful. You were a wonderful blessing.
Your ministry is so vital. Our kids need to know that they are loved
and that they have a destiny. Thanks for touching the lives of our
youth and families.

"I knew beforehand that the timing of Tom Sipling's visit
to Saraland First Assembly was God-ordained, but the weekend surpassed
what my mind had conceived. Tom is a fellow dead-man-walking, and
stepped into the pulpit with a now-word; no canned messages from
this guy. And he brought with him a passion to see the church BE
the church, and not just DO church. The impact of his visit, I believe,
will truly be felt for years. This is a man who has been marked
by God for these last days."
Jay Stewart, Sr. Pastor
Saraland First Assembly
We recently had the privilege of hosting Tom & Cindy Sipling
of Joshua Journey Ministries for four days in a series of all church/youth
services.
They came with servant ' s hearts to enhance what God was already
doing in our fellowship. Tom's messages and sensitivity to the leading
of the Holy Spirit was exceptional. The feedback of our people has
been nothing but positive.
In particular, the call to "reclaiming a generation"
was extremely challenging and powerful. We saw a significant response
from both parents and students. Tom has his hand on the pulse of
what God desires for the postmodern generation at the same time
ministering to parents who are hurting with the grief of lost children.

Hickory First Assembly Of God
The first time I met Tom I could see he is a man of integrity and
it was obvious he has a willingness to build a rapport with the
pastor.
He is submissive to the leadership of the church and will do what
the pastor desires. He is keen to the leading of God's Spirit while
in the pulpit and is respective of that Shepherd's pulpit.
Pastor Carol Wayne Slaton

"Tom recently ministered at our family camp.
His message is filled with vision and compassion. You will not find
another leader who better communicates the heart of God to this
generation. Our people love him."

I commend to you, as a fellow Shepherd in the Body of Christ,
the ministry of Tom Sipling. My knowledge of Tom is two fold. In
one of my previous pastorates Tom was my youth Pastor. He was not
only effective, he was outstanding. I've also had the joy of having
Tom speak on a regular basis to our congregation. Tom is exceptional
as a guest speaker as well. The amazing thing is that though his
ministry is youth oriented, he ministers to the adults with equal
effectiveness.
Because Tom is not only a powerful communicator, but also carries
a prophetic edge, you may want to give him ample time following
his message in which to minister in the altars. You will find that
Tom imparts, through the Holy Spirit, prophetic insights through
words of wisdom and knowledge that lasts far longer than the end
of the service. At Fifth Avenue we continue to reap the fruit of
his ministry, long after his departure, in the lives of both our
youth and adults.
Lastly, you can trust Tom to serve you and your
congregation with integrity of character and fidelity to the Word.
Sincerely,
Pastor Larry Titus

God has used Tom in such powerful ways during our Re-New-All services!
The brokenness of his heart before God is so evident and shows itself
in God's anointing upon Tom's words and ministry. His message to
the church of "Intimacy with God" is borne out in his
own life. His humbleness is a fresh and welcome breeze that, I believe,
the Church needs to experience. I would highly recommend Tom and
his ministry to any pastor, and any church, who is "Chasing"
after God.

"What a wonderful evening last night--your ministry and passion
were so deeply felt and appreciated. You spoke words of challenge
and hope! Thank you, too, for the call to bring prayer into their
schools. What a great picture of our youth bowing at their lockers.
We will follow that up and continue to build that vision."
